Every fact on a community page shows where it came from and when it was confirmed. With the family's OK, and only then, the site sends the family's details to one community the family chooses.
What it is not
It is not a health care provider, a placement agency acting for families, a broker, or an agent of any community. It does not give medical, legal or financial advice, and a request to a community is not a booking.
How results are chosen and ordered
A place that does not meet a need the family named is left out. Results are sorted by distance from where the family starts, or by name, price or confirmed essentials if the family chooses. Payment never changes the order or the facts shown.
How it is paid for
Families pay nothing. Communities pay when a family the site introduced moves in. Nothing is charged for being listed.
Where the facts come from
Four labels: from the state record, from the community's website, provided by the community, and confirmed by us. Each shows its date. Community records are loaded for Michigan so far.
